A box full of tomatoes for $2.00

We went shopping at the nearby fruits and vegetables market here called Randazzo, and my! I saw lots of freshly harvested tomatoes being sold for only $2.00 per box and I had to get one. What a deal! I thought. Randazzo fruits and vegetables market here in Roseville has almost everything anybody who loves to cook, could possibly ask for. The fruits and vegetables are amazingly cheap that such market is always packed with people. We go there each time we grocery shop. I like it there as I get all kinds of tropical fruits there, such as jackfruits, bananas, mangoes, lechees, longans, pomegranate and even sweet tamarind. I also get to buy different root vegetables like cassava roots, sweet potatoes, and other related root vegetables. My family and I are really lucky to be living somewhere where almost everything is easily accessible. The fruits and vegetables market I am talking about is the best place we have here for sure. No place can compare since the prices are unbeatable.

I thought I would create a blog just for my food finds and recipes. It will be fun since I can show off my cooking. Well, actually share what my family and I love to eat. I also don't mind sharing my recipes, so other can learn how to cook the food that they might happen to like on here. That will help a bit anyway...especially with those who do not know much about how to cook. I always in the process of learning how to cook, but I think I am getting better as time pass. Recently I have done a lot of cooking; mainly Philippine dishes. My husband also bought lots of crab legs and we had a great time eating them. There are humangos crabs here as well and my husband happened to buy one for me some time ago. I took a picture of it but I am not sure if I still have it to show you. Okay, this is all for now. I will be posting pictures of the foods I have been able to cook and the fresh vegetables I use.
